Data Science Group — University of Innsbruck

The Data Science Group is a research unit within the Department of Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck, established in January 2021 and led by Prof. Dr. Adam Jatowt.

We work on Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval, with a strong focus on large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and the temporal dimension of text — how meaning, relevance, and knowledge evolve across diachronic document collections such as multi-decade news archives.

This Hugging Face organization hosts the models, datasets, and demos produced by our group and our collaborators.
