Could it be that LiquidAI/LFM2.5-24B-A2B is an expanded version that uses LiquidAI/LFM2.5-2.6B as an expert?

I have a question for @mlabonne . (This follows up:https://huggingface.co/LiquidAI/LFM2-24B-A2B/discussions/18) Given the model scale, is LiquidAI/LFM2.5-2.6B essentially an intermediate checkpoint for LFM2.5-24B-A2B? If this hypothesis is correct, I am excited by the prospect that it could become a promising model capable of multimodal understanding and deep reasoning. Please share whatever information you can—even if it is just preliminary—regarding the input modalities and training objectives of LFM2.5-24B-A2B, and whether my speculation is accurate.

I’ll add a clarification, as there was a bit of a logical leap caused by getting a little too carried away with the possibilities: "it could become a promising model capable of multimodal understanding"—> Correction: "if it possesses the potential to serve as a multimodal foundation model with higher performance than existing ones, provided it is equipped with vision capabilities." Sorry for letting my imagination run a bit wild.

Hey, we want to release the best and fastest agentic model at this scale. It's text-only, but you can provide tools like an OCR model if you need vision.
